Good everyday coffee

Just got some of the Breakfast Blend, ground, and it's pretty good. It shipped fast, took about 4 days to get to my place in Ohio. No complaints, it's a solid morning cup. I'd probably order it again, maybe try another blend next time.

Nice coffee, minor shipping delay

I ordered the French Roast whole bean, and the coffee itself is excellent, very rich flavor. The packaging was secure. My only slight issue was that it took 6 days to arrive, which was a bit longer than I expected based on past experiences with other roasters. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the tracking, so that was good. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Love this coffee!

Got the Colombian Coffee and it's fantastic! The aroma when I opened the bag was incredible. Brews up so smooth every morning. This is definitely my new go-to. I will absolutely be shopping here again for my next bag, and telling my friends about it!

Consistently good coffee

I've ordered from Rocky Mountain Roastery several times now, and they always deliver. My latest order, a bag of their High Altitude Roast, arrived quickly and tasted just as fresh and bold as my previous ones. It's why I keep coming back, can always count on them for quality coffee.

Detailed Subscription Experience

I signed up for a coffee subscription with Rocky Mountain Roastery a few months ago, opting for their Medium Roast Coffee, whole bean. The initial ordering process online was straightforward, and setting up the subscription frequency was easy. My first shipment arrived within 5 business days, well-packaged in a sturdy box, and the coffee itself was noticeably fresh, roasted only a couple of days before shipping. I've received three shipments now, and the quality has been consistent each time. I also tried changing my next delivery date once through their online portal, and it updated without any issues. The coffee flavor is robust, not too acidic, which I appreciate. I did have a question about modifying my blend choice, and their support team responded to my email within 24 hours, which was helpful. The subscription discount makes it a good value too. So far, a reliable service for consistent, fresh coffee.

Thinking about trying their espresso blend, but I'm kinda picky. What's their return policy like if I don't love it?

L Linda E. 4 days ago
i think if you're not happy, you can probably return it. most coffee places are pretty understanding, especially if it's your first time trying them. i'd check their site for specifics though.

They're pretty good about it. I had an issue with a bag once (not taste, just packaging) and they sorted it out no problem. Seems like they stand by their coffee if you're not satisfied.

Does anyone know if their first order discount stacks with the subscription discount? Trying to get the best deal possible.

A Amanda Mitchell 1 month ago
I tried that a while back, I don't think they stack. You usually get one or the other for subscriptions, not both. Most places do it that way.

nah, pretty sure subscription discounts are usually separate. you can use a first order code if you're just doing a one-time purchase, or just go straight to the sub for its own savings.

How does their high-altitude roast compare to say, Stumptown or Blue Bottle? Never tried this specific kind of roasting before.

E Elizabeth T. 4 days ago
It's a bit different. I find their coffee often tastes cleaner, sometimes a bit brighter than Stumptown. Less of that 'roasty' flavor if that makes sense, even with darker roasts.

For me, it's smoother. Blue Bottle can sometimes be a bit more intense, but Rocky Mountain Roastery often has a really pleasant, nuanced taste. You can definitely tell there's something unique about the process.

Hey, I'm thinking of getting some beans from here. How long does shipping usually take to New York? Don't want to wait forever for my coffee fix.

S Sandra E. 3 weeks ago
Mine got to me in like 4-5 business days last time, I'm in New Jersey. So, probably similar for NYC. They ship pretty quick after you order.

yeah it's usually less than a week for me on the east coast. they don't sit on orders too long.

Is Rocky Mountain Roastery coffee actually organic? Or just 'natural' sounding?

I Ian W. 1 week ago
Some of their offerings are organic, yeah. You gotta look at the specific bean descriptions though, not everything is. They usually label it clearly.

I've definitely bought organic single origin from them before. It's usually noted right on the product page if it is.
